Medium: Oil on Canvas

Artist: Chuck Marshall

Ramesh asked Chuck to create this work to impart the idea that those who do not have physical vision, often see more than those who do have the use of their eyes, physically. Those walking by are not attending to the one who is pleading on his knees. Sometimes we rush by and do not notice the spiritual. That is Ramesh coming out of the door of the shop. The little family is the former manager of Giclée 42 in Mason, her husband, and eldest son.

Chuck wished to imply Christ’s presence. Chuck brilliantly reflected the figure of Christ over the shoulder of the kneeling man and the “cross,” which is the telephone pole. Both are reflected in the glass.
