The Concept of Reincarnation

The concept of reincarnation refers to “descent”, where the material body is incarnated on earth with ‘ancestral wisdom’ representing the immortal godly power.

  1. In theological terms, immortal godhead (Indra) first appears in a form which can never be seen, and cannot be touched or even perceived. It then appears in the form of a sub mortal body like a demigod (Maghavan), which can be perceived, but cannot be touched. It is then manifested in a moral form like living things with a physical body and personified (Avatar). All three forms, at all times, continue to prevail on the manifested ground (Prithvi).

  2. The concept of reincarnation upholds the universal principle that “everything existing comes from non-existence” and “all existence returns to non-existence.” A manifested embodiment and all creations represent a true relationship with our non-existence, representing our relationship with our ancestral parents.

  3. The role of ‘descents’ is defined in Veda, where invisible godhead (Indra) transforms into a sub-mortal messenger (Maghavan), which through a process of spiritual involution appears as the envoy (Avatar) and through further enhancement transforms to manifest a human, who constantly offers prayers with invocations to honor the ancestral power, the creator, Godhead (Indra).

  4. Humanity, through calling upon Hymns, learns to invoke invisible spiritual powers, chariot-born, prevailing within as a universal soul (Parnatma), immortal, and invisible power. This universal soul manifests within a manifested mortal form, represented with an eloquent quality, the living spirit (Atma) ready to gain abundant riches.
