​In the Bible are many instances where it relates that Jesus prayed. The Gospel Writers often stated that He went off alone to pray. He was at prayer when the apostles went off to fish and were met with a storm. He prayed aloud before raising Lazarus from the dead. He called to his Father and stated that He was praying in the hearing of those present and calling out to God, His father, so that they would know that God hears Jesus and answers His son. He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane before He was arrested, tried and crucified.
