The MOSA Academy of Art offers high level art instruction in the form of a variety of classes and workshops for high school students, art educators and adults seeking to hone their artistic skills.
Offerings for high school students include a classical drawing program, illustration techniques and methods, and character design and development, including sculpting characters in clay.
Studio classes for adults include a classical approach to drawing and painting, such as pet portraits in oil.
Art educators are offered certificate workshops in all of the above to earn CEUs.
Methods of instruction at the Academy include numerous live demonstrations, small classes in a relaxed but serious atmosphere and a great opportunity to build an outstanding student portfolio.
